Our History

Bruce Harris
Company President |
In 1995, Bruce E. Harris started a small shop producing custom wooden barn doors in Washington. From the start, he employed a systematic approach to his work, hence the name, Stable Systems. With an eye for quality, it wasn't long before his work was in high demand.
In 1996, he moved his company from Pullman to Tenino, where he saw opportunity to expand his principles to total barn construction in Washington. At the same time, he took on partners and the company became known as Stable Systems, Inc. Even though the company had some success, the partnerships fell apart and Mr. Harris became the sole share holder in 1997. Since that point, Bruce and a few employees have focused on developing the methods and practices they follow today.

Our Goals and Company Philosophy
Satisfaction
Our Company goal is really quite simple: satisfy our customers. Every action we take throughout the day revolves around doing the very best job we can. Over the years, we have found that a well informed customer is the easiest to work with and the most satisfied, once the job is done. We carefully work with you during each step of the Tenino barn building process, giving you every opportunity to ask questions, and have input into the Olympia barn design and barn construction of your project.
Quality Craftsmanship
Our name Stable Systems describes it best. We go about things in a systematic way, from how we handle the lumber, to how we cut it, right down to how we train our employees. From one crew to the next we have developed a Longview WA barn building method that is consistent, accurate and extremely effective. We take great pride in our work and by using the very best building materials available; we are producing some of the highest quality structures around. Stable Systems is a custom barn builder in Washington State.
True Professionalism
Our experience has taught us that each and every customer knows what will best suit their needs. There may be times when we might have differences, but we are there for the customer and we will always strive to fulfill their vision to the best of our abilities. All Washington general contractors run into challenges, the more experienced Vancouver custom garage contractors can foresee and solve them before the first nail is driven. However the real test of a good contractor is their ability to rise to the unexpected challenges and find creative solutions while still achieving their goal. We believe that these are the traits that will make the true professionals stand out.
